SUMMARY
Manage multiple client engagements and provide customized consulting and advisory services for Imperium clients in the areas of contract, public/government, and insurance claims. Support business development and revenue targets by strategically building and maintaining client relationships. Support the Engagement Leader on project deliverables, milestones, and billing. Support management as requested with practice development and other strategic or operational matters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the delivery of our consulting and project deliverables to our clients;
• Act as a liaison between client and internal teams, communicating about active work and deliverable progress, as well as overall engagement completion status while performing as day-to-day lead for multiple client projects;
• Develop strong client relationships that enable Imperium to become a trusted advisor for our client’s executives;
• Manage a high performing team of professionals. Mentor and guide team members in enhancing their consulting and project management skills;
• Perform and manage claim preparation and financial advisory services;
• Perform and manage document review and analysis, document organization and summation, spreadsheet development, data verification, and accuracy checks;
• Investigate and develop economic models, claim strategies, and causation/entitlement positions;
• Provide analysis and narratives for reports and deliverables. Draft reports and deliverables;
• Lead, attend, and present to prospects and clients in pre-sales activities and consulting engagements;
• Lead in discrete areas of marketing, sales, and operations. Take ownership of discrete initiatives;
• Provide highly responsive and effective support to Directors in delivering client engagement objectives;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or other business or quantitative field
Five (5) or more years’ experience in consulting or related industry field
Previous management experience preferred
Preferred professional accreditations: CPA, PE, PSP, CCA, CFE, EIT, CFF, etc.
SKILLS
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, effective communication, leadership technique, production or organizational methodologies, and coordination of people and resources
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Access, Power Point
Proficiency with or aptitude to learn other technology platforms, such as P6, RS Means, MS. Project, Xactimate, Relativity, among others
Organizational skills in managing multiple projects concurrently
Skill in talent management through motivating, developing, and directing employee work performance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relationships with others
Skill in analyzing and organizing technical data
Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Ability to travel 50% or more of the time
Foreign language skills preferred
