Training Associate
SUMMARY
Responsible for the developing, coordinating, and presenting of training and development programs to maximize performance and retention and to promote the company's product portfolio to increase company revenue and profit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Researches and identifies areas for training, develops training objectives, and designs training materials;
• Assists in preparing and delivering training for internal and/or external clients;
• Consults with management team members to assess and analyze training needs, researches, plans, organizes, develops curriculum and implements/delivers training programs for varying levels of individuals;
• Develops and continually conducts analysis of training metrics for effectiveness, and recommends appropriate changes, modifies programs, and updates curriculum as needed;
• Provides ongoing support and guidance to employees, trainers, and managers to reinforce training concepts and promote continuous learning and development;
• Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in training and instructional design to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs;
• Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates;
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in adult education, communications, organizational development, business administration, or human resources
One (1) or more years of experience in the general insurance industry or another related field (financial services, marketing, business-to-business customer service, or call center)
SKILLS
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and group discussions, in-person and virtually
Ability to manage multiple projects and handle rapidly changing priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint
