SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining information technology strategies as they relate to Agency Management Systems and other technologies, as assigned.  This role provides a main connection point between information technology and Alliant end users for onboarding, data migration, testing of new front office technologies, and user efficiencies.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Lead and manage in the planning and onboarding of business applications data migration for newly acquired organizations and front office staff into Alliant standard information technology systems.

•    Conduct group meetings and assist with training of personnel as required.

•    Work with the IT team to move systems into a legacy status, and assist with application termination. 

•    Convert newly acquired organization data from legacy systems into Alliant systems.

•    Evaluate external and internal challenges and provides action plans and follow-up to ensure positive relationships and adoption of application/business system.

•    Provide support in the development and promotion of user groups across the organization consisting of external and internal end users.

•    Assist in strategic planning for technology, and proactively identify changes in vendor business systems and Alliant business operations.

•    Develop and maintain appropriate communication mechanisms to disseminate information related to outages, upgrades, policy, or other changes to end users.

•    Conduct regular security reviews and provide audit and usage information to IT and related business units.

•    Provide demonstration and assist in technical troubleshooting from an end user perspective.

•    Work closely with business and IT teams to ensure information technology processes are supported through implementation.

•    Attend industry and technology appropriate user groups and conferences.

•    Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience

Three (3) or more years of related work experience

 

SKILLS

Proficient in Microsoft Office products 

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills

Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills 

Excellent customer services skills, including telephone and listening skills

Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork

Ability to interface with internal and external executives

Ability to clearly understand business processes in order to communicate them to information technology resources
