SUMMARY 

 

Responsible for client servicing, account retention, and account rounding for assigned book of high-volume program business consisting of accounts ranging in size from small business to small middle market. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

•    Initiates renewal process for existing clients, and discusses and creates renewal strategy with Producer. 

•    Analyzes and compares current exposures and develops renewal or new business specifications for marketing. 

•    Conducts marketing, negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy. 

•    Reviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposals. 

•    Communicates with Underwriters regarding errors and expedites corrections. 

•    Leads account rounding efforts to bolster client retention. 

•    Reviews policies for accuracy and reviews contracts. 

•    Prepares summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients. 

•    Reviews client accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies, and contacts client on receivable collections. 

•    Works within EPIC account management system. 

•    Communicates with Producer on complex client issues (exposures, claims, retention issues). 

•    Meets with clients as needed or directed by Producer. 

•    Reconciles and resolves missing payments and commissions between accounting department and carrier billing department. 

•    Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information). 

•    Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates. 

•    Performs other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 

 

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 

 

Six (6) or more years related work experience 

 

Valid insurance license 

 

 

SKILLS 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills 

Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills 

Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
