Warranty Manager - Midwest Region

Our Construction Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Warranty Manager for our Midwest Region (Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio). This position can report out of any of our Michigan branches with up to 25% travel to the other branches in the Midwest region.

The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

• Reports directly to the Director of Warranty with oversight from the VP of Warranty.
• Day to day interaction / “Dotted line” to the Regional Directors of Product Support.
• Oversee all warranty procedures and personnel for Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio.
• Ensure warranty personnel submit efficient, accurate, and professional claims that follow OEM guidelines.
• Continue to cultivate and grow relationships with our OEM’s.
• Personally handle all Goodwill claims with the OEM’s.
• Control and monitor the Warranty WIP.
• Control and monitor the Open Warranty AR Account.
• Have a solid understanding of how to submit claims to manufacturer's (OEM's).
• Work closely with service and field managers on warranty work orders.
• Work with all OEM's on product improvement updates (campaigns).
• Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):

• Warranty Labor
• Warranty labor sales at or above 80% of the budgeted amount for the month
• Warranty labor GP % at or above 50% for the month
• Warranty Parts
• Warranty parts sales at or above 80% of the budgeted amount for the month
• Warranty parts GP % at or above 15% for the month
• Warranty WIP
• Completed warranty work orders opened for more than 70 days should be less than 5% of your total warranty work orders
• No completed warranty work orders with a “Last Labor Date” greater than the OEM guideline (Rule of Thumb: 30 Days)
• Warranty AR
• Over 90 day Warranty AR less than 12% of total Warranty AR amount
• Volvo Campaigns
• Volvo Mandatory campaigns at or above 85% and Safety Campaigns at 100% for the Midwest Region
• Rolling 12 month evaluation means we need to be at or above these benchmarks at the end of each quarter
