EXL Premium Audit is seeking a Technical Customer Service Representative that will work remotely from a home office for the EXL Premium Audit Division.


This is an entry level to intermediate position with excellent customer service skills handling disputes and re-opens for large national customers.


Role and Responsibilities:


• Answers Customer Service phone line, appropriately manages the call, document’s progress notes in the file as applicable.

• Notifies Current Auditor or Branch Manager concerning specific items.

• Escalates to themselves and completes the audit at the insured’s request.

• Completes Premium Audits for Property & Casualty commercial insurance policies-Workers’ comp and General Liability.

• Works directly with the policyholder by phone to obtain payroll and other accounting record information and details about their business to apply correct classifications and exposure amounts for these policies.

• Communicates with agents, brokers and carriers as needed.

• Manages inventory escalated to themselves to meet customer time service and quality requirements.


Qualifications:


• Effective diplomatic oral and written communication skills.

• Basic working knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping practices.

• Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to handle time sensitive urgencies.

• Customer service focused, working directly with the public via phone and email.

• Strong computer and typing skills.

• Detail oriented and ability to interpret information.

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Experience working in commercial lines (Property & Casualty) insurance.
