Title: Senior Consultant, Analytics

Duties: The Senior Consultant, Analytics (Multiple Positions) at EXLService.com, LLC in New York, NY will gather analytical data about business processes to develop new solutions for management to enhance efficiencies. Extract knowledge and insights from data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques, including predictive analysis, business intelligence, pattern recognition, operational effectiveness, statistical inference and/or economic forecasting. Develop hypotheses and validate them based on analysis of data. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best computer/ML/Deep Learning/Reinforcement Learning/Generative AI application solution and solve problems. Perform external research on latest technology, documentation and present findings to senior management. Communicate with management teams and other team members to effectively implement solutions. Perform project task management including communications (deck writing), coordination of all sub-team efforts, delivery of output, facilitation and gathering of client feedback on problem structuring. Mentor and guide new team members to company culture and ramp up to produce productive output. Perform risk analysis, strategy and operations management for client projects. Perform data extraction, collation, processing, cleaning and transformation (ETL) along with feature engineering and model development. Perform model training, fine tuning, and evaluation for appropriate task specific models. Work on Large Language Model fine-tuning and application development. Utilize analytics methodologies and analysis tools to perform data extraction, data understanding, variable reduction, Big Data processing, data analysis, model development, model stabilization, and model validation, summarization, visualization and presentation. Use R, Hive, Python, and other statistical software to carry out analysis, drive conclusions and reformulate technical information into understandable terms for team and client presentations. Telecommuting permitted. Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Salary: $127,400 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field plus 4 years of professional experience with data analysis and application of statistical analyses for business solutions. Must have 2 years of experience with each of the following: (1) Python or R for machine learning, data analytics, and optimization; (2) Deep Learning using libraries including, Keras, Pytorch or TensorFlow; (3) Data Integration using ETL tools; (4) Big Data Technologies, including SQL, Hive, Hadoop, or Supercomputing clusters; (5) application of statistical analyses to real world business problems; (6) designing MIS and reporting frameworks to enable business decision making; (7) business visualization tools including, plotly, Highcharts, Tableau or PowerBI; (8) managing end-to-end deliverable for clients; and (9) Model Evaluation and benchmarking techniques.
