The pay range is $80,000 - $95,000/annually. This is a remote based position. 

The Senior Financial Analysts perform a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes and internal controls. Ultimately, you will ensure our financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
  • Forecast quarterly and annual profits

  • Prepare cost projections

  • Analyze and report on current financial status

  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data

  • Performing research and analysis as required

  • Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities

  • Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning

  • Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement

  • Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)

  • Review accounting transactions for data accuracy

  • Establish financial policies

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.

  • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.

  • Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.

  • Understanding key business drivers.

  • Assisting project teams with financial guidance.

  • Developing financial projections and building financial models.

  • Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.

Qualifications 

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills

  • Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software

  • Expertise in Google Suites (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)

  • Familiarity with finance databases

  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP), SAP

  • Up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations

  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts

  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information

  • Detail-oriented and strategically minded

  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience

  • Working knowledge of financial strategies

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

 

Experience / Education

  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus

  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling

  • Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.  We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
