Checker

Lynden International Logistics ULC is looking for a Checker to ensure that picked orders are accurate. This includes checking quantity, lot number, expiry date and product description.

LOCATION:  10 Corrine Court, Vaughan

WORKING SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:30pm

REPORTS TO:  Distribution Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verify the following information on every order: product name and size, product code, lot number, expiry date, quantity, and any other applicable information.
• Bring to the attention of the appropriate picker any discrepancies with an order.
• Bring to the attention of the Supervisor any discrepancies or general problems with an order.
• Obtain and properly match-up order paper work.
• Record all discrepancies found on Check Log.
• Other duties as required.

SKILLS/TRAINING REQUIRED:

• Good verbal and written communication. Ability to write clearly.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Able to count accurately.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum education required: 

Secondary school diploma

Minimum experience required:

1 year warehouse experience
