POSITION SUMMARY

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Paragon’s Test Security Operations unit by conducting research, investigation, and analysis to detect security concerns and improve the integrity of tests at Paragon’s test centres. The candidate will also work with the Quality and Compliance Coordinator to organize audits of Paragon’s test centres and address issues with quality of test delivery.

 

This part-time position will report to the Security Operations Lead.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Reviewing test security indicators of possible examinee misconduct and incident reports to identify likely breaches of test security.
  • Reviewing video recordings of test sessions to identify potential test security and/or compliance concerns.
  • Opening and assisting with test security cases, including collecting evidence, transcribing responses, and drafting examinee action letters and reports.
  • Conducting routine online investigations of individuals or organizations to monitor for test security concerns.
  • Collecting and analyzing data on test centre performance and summarizing the results.
  • Preparing reports based on information gathered by test centre auditors.
  • Working with other teams to ensure that issues identified in audits are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with updates to procedures and documentation.
  • Travelling to test centres to conduct audits when appropriate and feasible.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Security Manager.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Undergraduate degree, ideally in Social Sciences, Criminology, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pay careful attention to detail, to exercise tact, discretion, and confidentiality, and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to grow and provide support to meet the needs of the company.

 

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess Canadian citizenship, Canadian permanent residence, or have a valid work permit in Canada.
