The Guest Focused Service Trainer is responsible for coaching all new and current Service associates to provide an exceptional and continuous guest experience. The key role is to train the participants in Automotive Technology, Concepts and Functions of Components.
Duties/Responsibilities
Provides weekly training to all new Service guest facing team members on Asbury’s Guest Focused Training
Prepares all necessary student materials prior to the start of the classroom
Displays energy, enthusiasm and the ability to engage new hires
Engages team members in challenging and meaningful classroom training
Cultivates a friendly learning environment
Promotes classroom interaction and activity; addresses challenges in the classroom setting with a positive demeanor
Solves problems quickly, while multitasking
Submits a summary of weekly classroom activities
Clearly communicate Asbury’s Mission, Vision and expectations
Knowledgeable in latest Asbury technology
Knows, understands, and promotes Asbury’s policies and compliance
Serves as a role model, coach and trainer to all new and current team members
Drives and motivates others toward providing an Exceptional Service Experience
Takes a vested interest in new hires and conducts regular follow up
Communicates and works with Team Specialists, Production Managers, Guest Service Managers to understand business challenges and works to resolve them through future training
Provides regular feedback to the Guest Service Managers and Team Specialists regarding current class attendees and program changes
Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization
Education & Experience
Minimum 2 to 3 years as Technical Trainer or Lecturer in Automotive
Fully conversant and able to work in all Microsoft Office Programs
Excellent inter personal skills and presentation skills
Able to explain complex Automobile Theories in simple understandable manner to the Trainees
