Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR team with the recruitment process by coordinating candidate interview schedule, candidate and manager follow-ups, maintaining candidate status reports throughout the process, and conducting reference checks.
  • Assist in daily tasks consisting of handling a variety of employee-related administrative duties and providing support to the HR team related to policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist HR team in managing leave management and worker’s compensation process which includes timely processing of all new claims along with regular follow-up of claim status with internal and external partners.
  • Assist with compiling new hire paperwork and assist with orientation.
  • Work with the HR team to create and accurately maintain employee files.
  • Assist with the coordination of employee and manager training/maintain HR training calendar.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in an administrative assistant role.
  • Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on a variety of tasks and projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Proven experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be highly detailed oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience

Years of Experience

  • 1 - 3 years of professional work experience in an administrative capacity.
