1st Shift Materials Associate I

SCHEDULE:  Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

 

 

Position Summary:

The Materials Management Associate I will perform a wide variety of duties and responsibility including support production.

• Fill work orders
• Kit foam
• Cycle count
• Pulls materials for production and delivers to proper department
• Unloads deliveries and place product in designated areas
• Spot checking for incoming product for quality specifications

Location Specific details:

• Forklift Operator

Position Requirements:

• Attention to fine detail/ must be detail oriented
• Ability to be trained and licensed on a Forklift and other Powered industrial vehicles
• Regular lifting of product up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
• Regular maneuvering and position of product using pallet jack or carts up to 2,000 lbs
• Requires full shift of standing, walking, carry product, bending and lifting.
• Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal.
• Able to use hand held power tools with accuracy and precision.
• Able to assist in training employees
• 5-S audits and daily cleaning    
• Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High school diploma or GED required 
• Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
