The Guest-Focused Sales Trainer drives dealership excellence through tailored training activities focusing on the Guest Experience. The Guest-Focused Sales Trainer works with an assigned group of Asbury dealerships to create and demonstrate all training materials in live simulation sessions while promoting a guest-centric culture led by a consultative selling approach.

 

 Duties/Responsibilities

  • Designs, organizes, and facilitates Guest Focused Sales training for the dealership's guest-facing team members
  • Assesses the impact of the Guest Focused Sales training by tracking an essential set of metrics
  • Partners with the store management and identifies opportunities for improvements to the Guest Focused sales process
  • Cultivates a friendly learning environment, promotes classroom interaction and activity, and addresses challenges that may arise
  • Documents sales success stories and misses to strengthen the Guest Focused Sales training curriculum.
  • Maintains knowledge of Asbury technology and best practices related to Guest Focused sales processes
  • Clearly communicates and promotes Asbury's Mission, Vision, expectations, policies, and compliance.
  • Tracks record of success in planning and facilitates sales-specific training to diverse audiences.
  • Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization

Education & Experience

  • Automotive sales experience (minimum 1-3 years)
  • Experience in a formal Training and Development role preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree with related work experience in retail, hospitality or service industries preferred
  • Must have solid analytical, organizational, and program design skills
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal communication, project management, and problem-solving skills 
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Must have a track record of impeccable customer service reviews
  • Must have advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products and DMS software
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized to work in a fast-paced environment
